HomeMy WebLinkAbout10-25-2019 Comprehensive Community Services Minutes MINUTES NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY SERVICES (CCS) COORDINATION COMMITTEE th Friday, October 25, 2019 at 9:00 AM St. Croix County Services Center ROOM #172 1752 Dorset Lane, New Richmond, WI 54017 CALL TO ORDER: at 9:07am by Vice Chair Black ROLL CALL: Jody Gohr, Jane Hansen, Kathy Wochomurka, Diane Crist, Heidi Roettger, Dawn Campbell, Deena Black, Aaron Long, Carol Peterson, Fay Strenke, Carrie Doehrmann, Paul Wick, Adam Delikowski, Martina Parker, Erik Olson nd APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Gohr motioned to approved, Long 2. August minutes approved PUBLIC COMMENT: None BUSINESS ITEMS 1. CCS Enrollment Data: 133 total recipients, 105 youth, 28 adults 2.Review of any new member referrals to the Coordination Committee: Martina (Tina) Parker attended the meeting for the first time as a parent of a person with lived experience and has offered to be part of the committee. Vice Chair, Deena Black, acknowledged and appointed Tina as a new committee member. A message was also shared by Gohr from, Julie K. Johnson stating that Julie is stepping down at this time from the committee due to health reasons. 3.Election of Officers, Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary: Gohr was nominated by Long for Chair, committee voted, Gohr elected to Chair. Black was nominated by Doehrmann for Vice Chair, nd committed voted, Black elected to serve a 2 term as Vice Chair. Hansen was nominated by Gohr for Secretary. Committee voted. Hansen elected to Secretary. 4.Consideration of updates from Sub-Committee Quality Improvement: Committee is working on an action plan for next year. Use of Peer specialist, promoting CCS outreach, measuring CCS program success all to be discussed. Currently working on ROSI and MHSIP st gathering. Next meeting will be in Dunn County on November 21 at 11:00am. 5.Consideration and discussion of updates from Quality Assurance St Croix County CCS Workgroup: Area of improvement to be considered would be more to be captured at time of Discharge. Consideration of a questioner for recipient to complete to share what went well, what could be improved. For the Providers to be able to share more of a recap of how services went, what went well, what could be improved? Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) was discussed a current system utilized to gather data that could be used to measure success on the youth side. Looking to utilized CANS for adults in the future as well. 6.Consideration and discussion of updates from Marketing & Event planning Workgroup: No updates at this time. 7.Consideration and discussion of updates from Recruiting Workgroup: An informational folder, assembled by workgroup, was shared with the Committee to review as a folder to be able to give to current and new members. This folder is informational for the members to understand more about the Coordination Committee and can be utilized as a tool for recruiting new members as well. Workgroup reaching out to the committee for feedback. Suggestion made to include past minutes. Also suggested was to include Committee Officer Information. Committee agreed folder shared and reviewed to be able to be utilized. 8.CCS hierarchy: PowerPoint was shared of the CCS hierarchy of positions held within the CCS program. R SharePoint Portal. Request to be considered by St Croix County staff to share. REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENGA ITEMS: None ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE th The 30 Annual Children Come First Conference, November 11 & 12, 2019 at Glacier Canyon Lodge-Wisconsin Dells. nd Lunch & Learns coordinated by BESt Regional training committee, 2 Wednesday of every month, ask to see flyer. th CCS Boundaries 101, December 10 10:00am to 12:00pm, Hudson Government Center- th Boardroom. Also held December 13 in Eau Claire at the Government Center. Also held in Barron th at the Government Center on November 13. Limited number of spots available at each meeting. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION BY THE COMMITTEE: th DATE OF NEXT MEETING January 24, 2020 nd ADJOURN THE MEETING Long motioned to adjourn, Crist 2. Meeting adjourned at 10:39am (Items may be taken in different order) A quorum of the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors (County Board) may be present at this meeting. Therefore, this notice also serves as notice of a meeting of the County Board for the purpose of obtaining information relating to subjects listed above for use at future County Board meetings.
