HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-26-2020 Comprehensive Community Services Minutes Minutes COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY SERVICES (CCS) COORDINATION COMMITTEE Friday, June 26, 2020 at 9:00 AM St. Croix County Services Center ROOM #135 1752 Dorset Lane, New Richmond, WI 54017 CALL TO ORDER: by Chair Gohr 9:15 AM ROLL CALL: Fay Strenke, Jody Gohr, Becky Kerr, Dawn Campbell, Adam Delikowski, Shawna Warner, Diane Crist, Julie Johnson, Carol Peterson, Kathy Wochomurka, Linsey Lindquist, Eric Olson, Liz Pizzi nd APPROVAL OF MINUTES: motion to approve January minutes by Crist, 2 by Pizzi. Motion approved. PUBLIC COMMENT - none BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Introduction of CCS Administrator: Rebecca Kerr introduced herself and provided some background information. 2. Election of Secretary to replace open position: Strenke volunteered to be secretary. Motion nd by Pizzi, 2 by Crist, Motion approved. 3. CCS Enrollment Data: We have 157 individuals enrolled. 40 adult and 117 children. Campbell provided a summary of admissions and discharges during the past couple of months. 4. Review of any new member referrals to the Coordination Committee: Becky Kerr was appointed by Chair Gohr as member of the committee. 5. Update on current status of how CCS services are being provided: Campbell provided information on how youth are receiving services. Many families and children were initially okay with the pause of in person services during the stay at home order. Kerr provided information on the process for contracted providers to provide in person visits. Providers will submit a plan and then the team will meet to review plan and make a recommendation for in person visits. 6. Consideration of updates from Sub-Committee: Quality Improvement: Delikowski reported that the regional group continued to work on the action plan. What and how of information gathering. They are looking to adapt a CST survey that Eau Claire is currently using. This is being looked at as an enhancement to the assessment process. 7. Consideration and discussion of updates from Marketing & Event planning/QI Workgroup: Pizzi reported that events would drive what they are working on. 8. Consideration and discussion of updates from: Recruiting Workgroup: no updates from this work group 9. Availability of training on Ethics and Boundaries: There is a need for peer support specialist to have this. This could be for providers or committee members. This will be brought to the training group. REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENGA ITEMS: Review of current work groups Review of temporary change in by-laws to define a quorum. ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE: ndrd CCS certification was previously scheduled for March. It is currently scheduled for July 22 and 23. This will be conducted via a virtual format. We received a two-year certification at our last certification. thth Wisconsin Peer Recovery conference August 13 and 14 cost changed from $75 to $50 th CCS state-wide meeting will be virtual. CCS/CST September 9, 2020 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION BY THE COMMITTEE: DATE OF NEXT MEETING: August 28, 2020 nd ADJOURN THE MEETING: motion by Olson, 2 by Wochomurka to adjourn.
