8 WHEREAS, Section III - Contracts - of the County Board Operations Policies requires
9 the County Administrator to sign all contracts; and

11 WHEREAS, for ease of administration and efficiency, it is desirable that the County
12 Administrator have the ability to delegate the authority to sign certain contracts to others.

14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Section III - Contracts - of the County Board
15 Operations Policies be amended as follows (additions shown underlined):

17 Before being entered into and binding on the County, all County contracts shall be
18 reviewed and approved as to form by the Corporation Counsel. If acceptable, and except
19 as otherwise required by law, all contracts shall be signed by the County Administrator or
20 his or her designee.
