7 WHEREAS, every ten years the United States Census Bureau conducts a census of the
8 population and provides population counts to local municipalities; and
9
10 WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin delivered detailed population data and block-level
11 maps to St. Croix County on March 25, 2011; and
12
13 WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes sec. 59.10(3)(b)2. requires counties, within 60 days of
14 receiving the municipal ward plans, to hold a public hearing and then adopt a final county
15 supervisory district plan; and
16
17 WHEREAS, said public healing has been held; and
18
19 WHEREAS, the final county supervisory district plan contains supervisory districts which
20 are substantially equal in population.

22 THEREFORE, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors hereby adopts
23 the final county supervisory district plan attached to this resolution; and
24
25 FURTHER, be it resolved that, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes sec. 59.10(3)(b)4., the Chair
26 of the Board of Supervisors file a certified copy of the final county supervisory district plan with the
27 Secretary of State.

29 FURTHER, be it resolved that the Planning and Zoning Department provide copies of the
30 final county supervisory district plan and final municipal ward plan to each municipality in the
31 County.
