Call to Order
County Clerk Christine Hines called the meeting to order at 9:01 am
Roll Call
PRESENT: Christine Hines, Hugh Gwin, Barbara Giles
ALSO PRESENT: Jessica Lehman
OBSERVERS: Roy Sjorberg, Bob Maline, Barbara Peterson, Maggie Westmoreland, Karen Duchow, Shari Rosenow
Approval of Minutes
Minutes were accepted as presented.
1. Minutes of Previous Meeting - August 20, 2024
Business
1. Canvass the Results of the November 5, 2024 General Election
The results of the November 5, 2024, General Election were canvassed. Six of the 22 provisional ballots were cured
before the deadline. The votes from the six provisional voters were applied to the appropriate candidate during the
canvass. Registered write-in presidential candidate Peter Sonski/Lauren Onak received 10 votes per tally sheets
submitted from municipalities. The 10 votes for Peter Sonski/Lauren Onak were added to their column and deducted
from scattering.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission Canvass site was updated regarding the write-in votes and provisional ballot votes.
The Summary Settlement and Certifications for Federal and State offices, State Referendum and County offices were
signed by canvassers and forwarded to the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
