in the ADRC budget. In 2023 ADRC served 18,401 Congregate Meals. Challenges for
ADRC is rising food cost, social isolation, nutrition needs of our seniors, ARPA funds
expiring in 2024 and funding limitations. Newton shared mitigating opportunities
stating possibility of increasing suggested contribution rates or refine our
contribution-collection efforts. Newton shared ADRC is considering of using a
voucher system, grant exploration efforts and increase volunteer utilization. Newton
shared in 2023 the ADRC Specialist had 40% increase with approximately 4020 calls.
Challenges ADRC are having is the stagnant ADRC funding, caregiver shortages,
aging population, socio-economic struggles, Medicaid challenges post- Public Health
Emergency, and triage of referrals. Mitigating opportunities include Medicaid Time
