Minutes of Previous Meeting - January 21, 2025 Minutes were accepted as presented. Public Comment Business 1. Financial Report for January 2025 Administrator Ken Witt discussed the financial report for January 2025. 2. Consideration of Regrade Request for County Engineer Position Human Resources Advisor Abby Kimberly discussed the regrade request for County Engineer position. The Highway Commissioner Robbie Krejci provided detailed information for making adjustments to the position's grade to adapt to the employment trend for Engineers. Motion: Motion to approve two grade regrade for County Engineer position. Resolution Supporting Frontier's Grant Request Through the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program Administrator Witt discussed the resolution supporting Frontier's grant request through the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program. Motion: Motion to recommend the resolution supporting Frontier's grant request through BEAD program. Resolution Supporting Comcast's Grant Request Through the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program Administrator Witt discussed the resolution supporting Comcast's grant request through the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program. The Director, Government Affairs Meghan Shea from Comcast further discussed the objective of the BEAD program for the 2000 buildings or homes in St. Croix County. Motion: Motion to recommend the resolution supporting Comcast's grant request through the BEAD program. Motion: Motion to approve the Warranty Deed for the transfer of 450 square feet of the St. Croix County Fairgrounds to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Resolution Amending the Rules of the Board of Supervisors Corporation Counsel Heather Amos discussed the resolution amending the rules of the Board of Supervisors. Motion: Motion to recommend amending the rules of the Board of Supervisors with the three approved changes to the highlighted areas discussed. Request for Future Agenda Items Announcements Administrator Witt announced the Committee of the Whole meeting is set for April 3 at 9 am. The meeting will be for the Budget Priority and all departments will need to have their annual reports completed. Supervisor Feidler attended the Ehlers 2025 Public Finance Seminar that provides finance guidance for the County, and Feidler received feedback confirming June was the best time to move forward with the Highway Note. Supervisor Counter asked Administrator Witt about the population in St. Croix County and the population numbers will be released in August. Date of Next Meeting 1.
