Regular Meeting June 12, 2018 11:00 AM
Minutes of June 12, 2018 were accepted as presented.

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Review Goals of Criminal Justice Subcommittee
A discussion was held on the goals of this Subcommittee. Most of the discussion
surrounded data, the Day Report Center, Jail issues, and keeping open lines of
communication between departments.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. St. Croix County Day Report Center Update
Discussion was held on the Day Report Center statistics for the month of July, 2018.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Crime Data Analyst Updates
Kevin Hamlin, Crime Data Analyst, gave a report on Jail numbers in July 2018.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Public Safety Assessment (PSA) Review
Mike O'Keefe gave an update on the use of the Public Safety Assessment (PSA), There
are six pilot programs in the State of WI. He suggested that we should migrate to this
pre-trial risk assessment when it becomes available to us.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
5. Treatment Courts OWI Track Update
The Hon. R. Michael Waterman gave an update on the OWI track within the current
Treatment Court Program.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
