BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Consider & Recommend Transit Pilot Initiatives and Transit Considerations in St.
Croix County
Motion made by Tim Hall/George Zaske to move forward with a pilot program to
provide transit service in St. Croix County and defined by the following, the County's
pilot project would include the area west of State Highway 65, plus the remaining area
within the city limits of New Richmond and River Falls, and the Village limits of Star
Prairie and Roberts. Trips would be provided within the defined area, with the exception
of those trips with an origin and destination within the service areas, currently served by
the City of New Richmond and the City of River Falls (5-mile radius from the City limits)
or with an origin and destination within the City limits of Hudson. Motion carried.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]
