Discussion reference Hwy 63 in Baldwin 2. Discussion reference sign for Hwy 63 -64. 3. Any other traffic matters to come before committee. Klanderman DATE: July 9, 2002 COPIES TO:County Clerk News Media /Notice Board Committee Members r St. Croix County Traffic Safety Commission meeting was held July 17, 2002 at the Sheriff's Department in Hudson at 1:30PM. Present were: Doris Peterson, Daniel Fedderly, Miles Wittig, Richard (Buzz) Marzolf, Greg Helgeson, Charles Grant, Doug Notbohm, Marge Wolske, Bob Klanderman and Pam Dabruzzi. Meeting was called to order by Chairman Klanderman. Motion to adopt agenda made, seconded and approved. Motion to accept minutes of April 17, 2002 made and approved. UNFINISHED BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS Captain Klanderman asked Mr. Helgeson if Hwy. 63 was going to be widened. A study is being done at this time. Mrs. Peterson asked when the Hwy. N bridge is going to be done. Captain Klanderman asked about putting a sign on Hwy. 64 (westbound) by Hwy 63 that can be flipped up to notify drivers of traffic slow downs. A discussion was held reference installing a sign. Captain Klanderman asked Mr. Fedderly to check the road striping on Co. RD A from the State Park to McCutcheon Rd. southbound. A discussion wa s held reference Hwy 65N to Hwy 65S speed limits. Also, Mr. Helgeson mentioned if DOT changes anything at the intersections they prefer to do it once. Mr. Marzolf stated that things are becoming more hazardous on Co Rd F by E Cove RD. Mr. Fedderly stated that any changes that need to be made on E Cove RD need to be made by Troy Township. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRESPONDENCE Captain Klanderman stated the State of WI was traffic fatality free on July 4 th and 5 2002. Motion made and seconded to adjourn. Motion carried. Adjourned at 2:18PM.
