Committee Members
St. Croix County Traffic Safety Commission meeting was
held January 16, 2002 at the Sheriff's Department in Hudson
at 1:30PM.
Present were: Jack Colvard, Miles Wittig, Greg
Helgeson, Jim Harer, Brian Erickson, Dennis Johnson, Dawn
Budrow, Charles Grant, Pam Dabruzzi, Bob Klanderman and Tom
Irwin (excused)
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Klanderman.

Business should have read I94 and Hwy 12 not Hwy. 65.

Chairman Klanderman announced St. Croix County
received $10,000.00 alcohol, $8,000.00 speeding and
possibly a Click -It grant also.
St. Croix County had (19) fatalities in 2001. We have
had (1) so far in 2002.

NEW BUSINESS
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRESPONDANCE
Mr. Johnson stated Child Passenger Safety week is
February lOtn_16tn
Mr. Johnson handed out some legislation updates
information.
Fatality rate in Wisconsin so far is double last year
at this time.
Mr. Helgeson stated he sent a letter to Abundant Life
Church reference their concerns and a proposal. He is
waiting to hear back from them.
Motion made and seconded to adjourn. Motion carried.
