,�CQ<2sL1t RESOLUTION EXTENDING COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR
CONTRACT
1 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin, and Kenneth L.
2 Witt entered into an Employment Agreement dated January 5, 2021, outlining the terms and
3 conditions of employment for the County Administrator; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors recognizes the importance of continuity in
leadership and the positive contributions of the County Administrator in the management and
administration of County operations; and
9 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors and the County Administrator mutually agree to
10 extend the term of the Agreement, amend certain provisions related to salary, retention
11 incentives, and voluntary resignation notice as outlined in the Contract Addendum; and

13 WHEREAS, the amended agreement extends the term of the County Administrator's
14 contract by five (5) years, establishing a new termination date of January 5, 2031, unless further
15 extended or terminated in accordance with the Agreement.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of St. Croix
18 County, Wisconsin, that the contract of the County Administrator, Kenneth L. Witt, is hereby
19 extended in accordance with the terms set forth in the Contract Addendum.

21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Board Chair is authorized to execute
22 the Contract Addendum on behalf of the Board of Supervisors.
