Resolution No. 27 (2025)
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE TOWN OF
HUDSON ZONING ORDINANCE — CHAPTER 105 (ZONING)
1 WHEREAS, on March 17, 2025, the Town of Hudson Plan Commission held a properly
2 noticed meeting to discuss the creation of a new zoning district titled "Youth -Oriented
3 Recreational District" and recommended approval with some modifications to the language
4 related to facility lighting; and
5
6 WHEREAS, on April 16, 2025, the Town of Hudson Town Board held a properly
7 noticed public hearing to consider amending Chapter 105 (Zoning) by adding a new zoning
8 district titled "Youth -Oriented Recreational District;" and
9
10 WHEREAS, on April 16, 2025, the Town of Hudson Town Board held a properly
11 noticed special meeting to consider amending Chapter 105 by adding a new zoning district titled
12 "Youth Oriented Recreational District;" and
13
14 WHEREAS, following discussion of the item at the April 16, 2025, meeting, the Town
15 Board approved the zoning text amendment shown in Exhibit A; and
16
17 WHEREAS, Wis. Stat. § 60.62(3) states that in counties having a county zoning
18 ordinance no town ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the county board; and
19
20 WHEREAS, St. Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
21
22 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Community Development Committee has reviewed
23 the proposed amendments and recommends approval.

25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of
26 Supervisors approves the amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance described
27 above.
