Excused Absences: NA Unexcused Absences: NA APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Ground and Surface Water Quality Study Group – Study Group – September 12, 2017 9:00 AM Chair Biltonen asked if after review of the September 12, 2017 minutes of the Ground and Water Quality Study Group meeting if any Study Group members have recommended corrections or additions. With nothing noted, the minutes were accepted as submitted by Chair Biltonen. RESULT: ACCEPTED BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Facilitated discussion and revision of draft final report on Background, Main Findings, and Recommendation Ground and Surface Water Quality Study Group members reviewed the draft of the final recommendations report. Chair Biltonen suggested that the group come up with 5 to 8 core recommendations that they would like to present to the County Board. Biltonen also shared that an overview of all recommendations discussed throughout this process as well as the long-term goals will be part of the report prepared for the County Board. Discussion was had, edits suggested and consensus made on what will go into the final report. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Vote on accepting draft final recommendation report The Ground and Surface Water Quality Study Group voted on moving the final draft recommendations on to the full County Board. A motion was made by Tom Zwald and was seconded by Supervisor Long to approve the recommendations, with suggested revisions from today's meeting as the Chair sees fit, on to the full County Board. A voice vote was taken and all approved. Wrap-up discussion and next steps The Ground and Study Group members discussed who will represent the Study Group at the October 3, 2017 County Board meeting. It was determined that Tom Zwald, Leslie Svacina and Chair Biltonen will present the Ground and Surface Water Quality Study Group's recommendations to the County Board on October 3, 2017. Chair Biltonen will prepare a power point and review with Zwald and Svacina prior to that meeting. RESULT: DISCUSSED ADJOURN Chair Biltonen along with County Board Chair Roger Larson thanked the Study Group for their dedication and hard work the past several months. Chair Biltonen called the final meeting of the Ground and Surface Water Quality Study Group adjourned at approximately 4:15 PM.
