PUBLIC COMMENT
Brittany Geiger, James Geiger, Ramsey Lee spoke during public comment regarding
Transportation concerns.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Election of Chair and Vice Chair
Chair nomination-Paulette Anderson, Convener, called for nominations of Chair.
Nomination by Peg Gagnon to elect David Ostness as Chair of the Transit Commission.
Motion carried. Vice Chair nomination- David Ostness, Chair, called for nomination of
Vice Chair. Nomination by Julie Bergstrom to elect Peg Gagnon as Vice Chair of the
Transit Commission. Motion carried.

2. Establish a Meeting Schedule and Meeting Location
The Transit Committee agreed to meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at various times
and locations.

3. Discuss Background Information and Future Planning
Peg Gagnon distributed the County Board presentation from January 18, 2018 and gave
a background summary of the Transit Planning Subcommittee. Dave Ostness discussed
transportation issues with regards to the citizens of St. Croix County.

4. Discuss Request for Information
The Commission reviewed the Request for Information which is available for transit
providers to provide information and identify transit options in the general area. The
press release and the Request for Information will be finalized and published after the
July meeting.
