1. Transit Planning Subcommittee – Regular – November 9, 2017 9:00 AM

PUBLIC COMMENT
Jacquie Niccum asked the Transit Planning Subcommittee to provide information of transit costs
and public/private partnerships.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Discuss Transit with Phillip Landgraf County Vetrans Service
Phillip Landgraf, Veterans Service Officer, reviewed the transportation assistance
provided to Veterans in the area.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. Discuss Transit Issues with Local Businesses
Dave Ostness reviewed some transportation concerns of the local employers.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
3. Discuss Transit Issues with Municipalities
Dave Ostness reviewed transportation comments from the local units of government.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Review and Discuss County Board Presentation
The Transit Planning Subcommittee members received positive feedback in regards to
the County Board presentation.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
5. Review Timeline from WCWRPC Executive Summary
The current timeline and action items were reviewed and discussed.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
6. Review and Discuss Transit Provider Request for Information
A draft Provider Request for Information was presented.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
7. Review & Discuss the Transit Commission Process
Motion made by Paulette Anderson/Peg Gagnon to move forward with the process of the
formation of a Transit Commission. Motion Carried.

The February Transit Planning Committee has been rescheduled to February 15, 2018.
