CROINK, `l?�,��NTY RESOLUTION APPROVING TOWN OF FOREST REZONING - 1.68 �— °" ` "��1z��fL ACRES FROM AGRICULTURAL -RESIDENTIAL TO RESIDENTIAL - ANDREW CORMICAN 1 WHEREAS, Andy Cormican owns 1.68 acres in the Town of Forest, that is zoned 2 Agricultural -Residential; and 3 4 WHEREAS, the subject parcel is legally described below; and 5 6 Located in part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, 7 Township 31 North, Range 15 West, Town of Forest, St. Croix County, 8 Wisconsin; described as follows: 10 Commencing at the East Quarter Corner of said Section 13; thence N00°20'53 "W 11 along the East line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 13 a distance of 12 295.20 feet to the Northeast Corner of Lot 1 of that Certified Survey Map 13 recorded in Volume 3 of said maps on page 677 as Document 43 513 97, in the 14 office of the St. Croix County Register of Deeds and the Point of Beginning; 15 thence N87°06'23 "W along the north line of said Lot 1 a distance of 296.20 feet to 16 the Northwest Corner thereof, thence N00°20'53"W a distance of 174.42 feet; 17 thence N65°48'00"E a distance of 323.34 feet to the East Line of said Northeast 18 Quarter; thence S00°20'53"E along said East Line a distance of 321.92 feet to the 19 Point of Beginning. 20 21 Containing 1.68 acres, more or less. Subject to all easement, restrictions and 22 covenants of record. 23 24 WHEREAS, the owner has petitioned the Town of Forest to rezone the subject property 25 from Agricultural -Residential to Residential; and 26 27 WHEREAS, on May 13, 2025, at 6:00 pm, the Town of Forest Plan Commission held a 28 properly noticed public hearing to take public comment and to consider the rezoning request; and 29 30 WHEREAS, on May 13, 2025, the Town Plan commission recommended approval of 31 the rezoning request; and 32 33 WHEREAS, on May 13, 2025, the Town of Forest Town Board approved the rezoning 34 request; and 35 36 WHEREAS, Wis. Stat. § 60.62(3) states that in counties having a county zoning 37 ordinance no town ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the county board; and 38 39 WHEREAS, St. Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and Resolution No. 28 (2025) ST. C ROIX 'CC?,PNTY RESOLUTION APPROVING TOWN OF FOREST REZONING - 1.68 sC¢rzss>� ACRES FROM AGRICULTURAL -RESIDENTIAL TO RESIDENTIAL - ANDREW CORMICAN 40 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Community Development Committee has reviewed 41 the proposed amendment and recommends approval. 42 43 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of 44 Supervisors approves the zoning map amendment to the Town of Forest Zoning Ordinance 45 described above and is hereby approved.
