Re: Dlrective of July 1l' '1979
Oear Mrs. Ross:
Thank you for your 'letters regardl ng the sltuation at your residence. I do
appreciate your concern for speedy disposition of this vexing matter and
will pursue it as qulckly as my authority allows.
You are correct in understanding that the 30 day time llmlt, imposed by
directive, does extend into the month of August. Should the tirle limlt
for correction be exceeded, [U/ next step is to seek anforcement assistance
ln the Clrcuit Court of St. Crolx 0unty. Regrettabiy, this would take more
time, however.
I am not anpowered to prcceed ln another wqy.
As to the disposltlon of the exlsting falllng septlc tank, slnce it ls located
on your property, I found lt necessary to dlrect its destructl on to you.
xpect compllance with the dlrectives' and when completed, your problem
evrage leakage and ponding should be over.

There can be Iittle doubt that some of the water which Ieaks into your

fact over most of the inmediate vicinity of your home. As noted on the
report, there is a rise in elevation north of the fence and store which
does have sufficient soil over the high groundwater level to permit install-
