ROLL CALL - Members Present: Supervisors Steve Hermsen, Sharon Norton-Bauman, Bill
Peavey and Daryl Standater. Richard 'Buzz' Marzolf, Lorin Sather and Robert Shearer were
absent and excused.
STAFF PRESENT: Pete Kling, Ellen Denzer, Jennifer Havens and County Administrator Pat
Thompson.
GUESTS: Phillip Van So ere, Carolyn Barrette, Dave Ostness, Dolly Qualls and County
Board Supervisor Linda Luckey.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by Peavey, 2' by Norton-
Itauman approving the minutes of January 5, 2012. Motion carried.
BUSINESS ITEMS
by burying them in sawdust and hauling them out with the manure. He had received a phone call
on this and wanted to question if it actually is considered composting and meets the ordinance
definition. Staff will also review this, but Denter feels this is outside of the ordinance;
composting is more in reference to yard and food waste.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRIESPONDENCE: Norton-Bauman asked for a status update
on the Outdoor Recreational Plan, and the Parks Ordinance. Thompson answered that the Land and
Water Conservation staff is still working on it.
