St. Croix County, Wisconsin
The St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows:
WHEREAS, in May 1990, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors enacted Ordinance No.
248(90), "Ordinance Electing to Proceed under Section 75.521, Wisconsin Statutes, in Relation
to the Enforcement of Collection of Tax Liens," a copy of which is attached; and
WHEREAS, enacting Ordinance No. 248(90) authorized the County to use an alternate method
of obtaining title to real estate tax delinquent property in cases where the alternate method would
be appropriate; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 248(90) should be made a chapter of the St. Croix County Code of
Ordinances by adding it as Chapter 7 under the "County Administration" section of the Code.
THEREFORE, Ordinance No. 248(90) is hereby made Chapter 7, "Ordinance Electing to
Proceed under Section 75.521, Wisconsin Statutes, in Relation to the Enforcement of Collection
of Tax Liens," of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances.

ORDINANCE ELECTING TO PROCEED
UNDER SECTION 75.521, WISCONSIN STATUTES,
IN RELATION TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF COLLECTION OF TAX LIENS
The Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County does ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Election. From and after June 1, 1990 St. Croix
County elects to adopt the provisions of sec. 75.521, Wisconsin
Statutes, and any subsequent amendments or revisions, for the
purpose of enforcing tax liens in this county in the cases where
the procedure provided by such section is applicable.
Section 2. Redemption. The Treasurer of St. Croix County
shall set the last day for redemption required by sec. 75.521(6).

day of May, 1990.
