St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, requests for new positions have been reviewed by the Personnel Committee
and the Finance Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee approved the following positions for consideration
in the 2005 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee also approved the same positions with one change to
position start dates; and
WHEREAS the Finance Committee recommends approval of the following new positions
effective January 1, 2005 unless otherwise noted:
1. Telecommunicator, Emergency Communications Department
New, full -time position, cost: $58,674 Funding source: County levy
2. Jail Sergeant, Sheriff's Department, position upgrade cost: $6,910 Funding: County levy
3. Corrections Officers, 2 positions, Sheriff's Department, cost: $138,447 Funding: County
levy
4. Patrol Sergeants, 2 position upgrades, Sheriff's Department, cost: $13,481. One position
starting July 1, 2005. Funding: County levy
5. Patrol Deputies, 2 positions, Sheriff's Department, cost: $159,095. Funding: County
levy
6. Health Educator, Public Health, Health and Human Services, $66,786. Funding: Fees and
grants, no County levy cost.
7. Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Mental Health, Health and Human Services, $97,650
Funding: Fees, no County levy cost.
8. Social Worker, Coordinated Family Services, Health and Human Services, $75,777.
Funding: Grants, no County levy cost.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
positions listed above are approved as indicated.
