AS COUNTY DEPOSITORY FOR FISCAL YEARS 2003 AND 2004

WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes §59.61(2) directs county boards to designate one or more credit
unions, banks, banking institutions, or trust companies located in Wisconsin, as county depositories, one
or more of which shall be designated as working credit unions, savings and loan associations or banks, all
deposits in which shall be active deposits; and
WHEREAS, §59.61(2) allows a county board to authorize a committee to make the designations
when the need arises and the board is not in session; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has received proposals from St. Croix County financial
institutions to be designated county depositories and as working credit unions, savings and loan
associations or banks for county active deposits; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends the First National Bank of Hudson, Wisconsin,
as the County's county depository and working bank for active county deposits for fiscal years 2003 and
2004.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the First National
Bank of Hudson, Wisconsin is hereby designated as the county depository and the working bank for all
active deposits for county funds for fiscal years 2003 and 2004, effective January 1, 2003.
FURTHER, be it resolved that during fiscal years 2003 and 2004, any credit union, bank, banking
institution, trust company, or savings and loan association located in Wisconsin may be designated by the
Finance Committee as county depositories within which non - active deposits of county funds may be
made.
