CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE

ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN
WHEREAS, St. Croix County owns approximately 64 acres which the Highway
Department uses for an outlying shop and gravel pit, which is located in the SW 1/4 of
Section 36, T31 N, R 19W, Town of Somerset and Village of Somerset; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee desires to convey 5.00 acres of this parcel,
which is not suitable for gravel mining, to the Village of Somerset; and
WHEREAS, the 5.00 acre parcel is described as Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map recorded in
Volume 16, Page 4392, Document No. 693423, St. Croix County Register of Deeds
office; and
WHEREAS, the conveyance of this 5.00 acre parcel shall be considered full
compensation for any and all costs incurred and associated with providing Village utility
services to the Highway Department Somerset Maintenance Facility excluding regular
and common monthly fees for such services.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
conveyance of the above described parcel of 5.00 acres to the Village of Somerset is
approved and the Chair of the Board of Supervisors and the County Clerk are
authorized to sign a warranty deed for the parcel.
