BUILDING COMMITTEE
Resolution No. 33
St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the Public Protection Committee recommends construction of an addition to
the County jail section of the Government Center for additional "Huber inmates" (inmates
entitled to work release privileges); and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has oversight of all County buildings and
improvements and additions to buildings; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends appointment of an ad hoc Huber
Building Committee to manage the final design, financing, construction and furnishing of the
2003 Huber addition; the committee to be comprised as follows:
a. One member from the Finance Committee
b. One member from the Public Protection Committee
c. One at -large County supervisor
d. Two nonvoting members — the Administrative Coordinator and the Facilities
Manager;
The 3 supervisor members shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors Chair; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff shall assign an employee of his department as support staff to the
committee.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that an ad
hoc Huber Building Committee is hereby created to manage the final design, financing,
construction and furnishing of the 2003 Huber addition, comprised of members and support staff
as set out above.
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that the Huber Building Committee report directly to the
Board of Supervisors regarding project progress and issues and make a final recommendation to
the Board of Supervisors regarding proceeding with financing and construction.
