SUPPLEMENTAL WATERSHED AGREEMENT NUMBER 5

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, St. Croix County has the responsibility to maintain and operate the Glen Hills dam number 2
through the Public Law 566 program; and
WHEREAS, the breach route analysis developed by Ayres & Associates identified the single family house
below Glen Hills dam number 2 to be in both the hydraulic shadow of the dam break analysis and the regional flood
plain: and
WHEREAS, the adoption of the St. Croix County flood plain ordinance and corresponding breach route
analysis by Ayres & Associates identifies specific elevation of the flood plain boundary; and
WHEREAS, removal of the single family house below Glen Hills dam number 2'from the flood plain
becomes the most practical and fiscally responsible action to the taxpayers of St. Croix County; and
WHEREAS, Supplemental Watershed Agreement Number 5 modifies the watershed plan dated December
19, 1963 to include provisions for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to share costs of this project
with St. Croix County.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes the County
Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the Administrative Coordinator to sign this agreement.
