COMMISSIONER SECRETARY

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the current Family Court Commissioner has been elected Circuit
Court Judge for Branch II effective July 1, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the current Family Court Commissioner and his secretary have
provided their services on a contractual basis; and
WHEREAS, it is not contemplated that a similar arrangement will be part of the
services provided by the new Family Court Commissioner; and
WHEREAS, the Finance and Personnel Conunittees have determined that it is
necessary to create the position of Court Commissioner Secretary as a full -time,
permanent position to assist the Family Court Commissioner and other County Court
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the position will have a start date of July 2, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the position from July 2, 2001 through December 31,
2001 would be $21,062 (includes wages, fringe benefits, & health insurance); and
WHEREAS, money has already been budgeted for the contractual services,
leaving a total 2001 budget impact of $4,700.00.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that
the permanent, full -time position of Court Commissioner Secretary be established with a
starting date of July 2, 2001.
