CROIX COUNTY SUPERVISORY DISTRICT PLAN Resolution No. a / 6;R6 6 I) St. Croix County, Wisconsin WHEREAS, every ten years the United States Census Bureau conducts a census of the populations and provides population counts to local municipalities; and WHEREAS, after each census, every county in Wisconsin is required to establish new supervisory districts; and WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin delivered detailed population data and block -level maps to St. Croix County on April 2, 2001; and WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes sec. 59.10(3)(b) requires counties to prepare a final county supervisory district plan within 60 days of receiving municipal ward plans; and WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes also requires that counties hold a public hearing to solicit suggestions from the public and local municipalities before adoption of the final plan, and that said public hearing has been held; and WHEREAS, the final plan contains supervisory districts which are substantially equal in population, compact and contiguous. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors hereby adopts the attached final supervisory district plan; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes the County Board Chair to file a certified copy of the final plan with the Secretary of State.
