EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS VAN

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the 1976 Chevrolet Step Van 20 used by the Emergency Communications
Department as an emergency communications van has been replaced with a new van; and
WHEREAS, the van is described on the attachment to this resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Emergency Communication/Emergency Management /Local Emergency
Planning Committee recommends selling the old van; and
WHEREAS, the desired method is by placing a copy of the attachment and soliciting
bids on the Internet; and
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes sec. 59.52(6)(c) requires the County Board to direct the
County Clerk to sell county property on terms that the Board approves.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
1976 Chevrolet Step Van 20 be advertised on the Internet and bids for the van be accepted as
described on the attachment; and
FURTHER, be it resolved that the 1976 Chevrolet Step Van 20 be sold "as is" to the
bidder whose bid is most in the County's best interest (not necessarily the highest bid) as
determined by the Emergency Communication/Emergency Management /Local Emergency
Planning Committee and the Administrative Coordinator; and
FURTHER, be it resolved that the proceeds of the sale be deposited in the County's
general fund.

EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS VAN
St Croix County Wisconsin is soliciting sealed bids for its Emergency
Communications Van. The Van is a 1976 Chevrolet Step Van 20 with 52,669 actual
miles. The Van will be sold "as is" with the following equipment:

Saturday September 29, 2001 in the lower parking lot of the St Croix County
Government Center at 1101 Carmichael Rd in Hudson, Wisconsin.
St Croix County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
