RESOLUTION TO SUBMIT A RECOMMENDATION FROM THE FOUR
OPTIONS FOR THE ST. CROIX COUNTY NURSING HOME
RESOLUTION # 3 (2. c
ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Human Services Committee has reviewed the
four options as presented by Keefe and Associates for the St. Croix County Nursing
Home; and are as follows:
1. Status quo
2. Selling or closing the nursing
3. Building a new building after downsizing
4. Remodeling the existing building with downsizing
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Human Services Committee will submit a
recommendation to the County Board;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Health and Human Services
Board that a recommendation of #3 will be submitted to the County Board;
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
adopts the Human Services Board recommendation and directs the County Board Chair
to appoint a steering committee comprised of Health and Human Services Board, Finance
Committee members and other supervisors to present and recommend a detailed plan for
a reduced capacity (downsized) facility.
FURTHER, be it resolved that no County owned land be sold to fund this new
facility.
Adopted by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors on December 18, 2001, in
response to the attached resolution offered by the Health and Human Services
Committee.

WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Human Services Committee has reviewed the four options as presented
by Keefe and Associates for the St. Croix County Nursing Home; and are as follows:
1. Status quo
2. Selling or closing the nursing
Building a new building after downsizing
4. Remodeling the existing building with downsizing
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Human Services Committee will submit a recommendation to the
County Board ;
THEREFORE, be it resolved b the St. Croix County Health and Human Services Board that a
recommendation of 43 will be submitted to the County Board;
