FOR BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors recently adopted a resolution recommending the
Wisconsin Counties Association conduct a goal setting session to determine its priorities and
work direction; and
WHEREAS, the Administration Committee believes that such an effort would be
beneficial to the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors as well; and
WHEREAS, the cost to secure a facilitator and site for a day long session open to the
public would be not more than $1,500, and is reasonable for the benefits to be attained by such a
session; and
WHEREAS, affording the Board of Supervisors the opportunity to organize and
determine goals after the April, 2002 elections would be most valuable to Board members, staff
and County residents.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors approves a
special Board meeting for April 23, 2002 to conduct a goal setting session with department
heads, utilizing a facilitator and open to the public; cost not to exceed $1,500, the actual amount
to be paid as determined by the Finance Committee.
