TO EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 166, starting with the 1995 -1996 edition,
changed its reference to "emergency government" to "emergency management "; and
WHEREAS, the Emergency Government Committee desires to change its name
and that of the Emergency Government department to be consistent with Wisconsin
Statutes; and
WHEREAS, those name changes will not change the functions or duties of either
the committee or the department.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that:
1. The Emergency Government committee's name is changed to "Emergency
Management" committee; and
2. The Emergency Government department's name is changed to "Emergency
Management" department.
3. The County Board Rules and By -Laws be amended to reflect the changes.
