HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions 2000 (27) "r RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGES TO WAGES AND BENEFITS OF COUNTY NON - REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES Resolution No. '7 C 0° St. Croix County, Wisconsin WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee recommends changes to the wages and benefits of County non - represented employees to be consistent with wages and benefits agreed to with represented employees; and WHEREAS, those changes are shown on the attachment to this resolution. THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the changes shown on the attachment be made in the wages and benefits of County non - represented employees. Nelson, St. Croix County Clerk WAGE AND BENEFIT PROPOSAL FOR NON - REPRESENTED EMPLOYEES 2000 -2002 Approved by the Personnel Committee 08/07/00 Before the County Board for action 08/15/00 1.) Health Insurance, Contribution Rates — Effective September 1, 2000 the County pays up to $566.50 per month toward the applicable health insurance premium plus assumes ninety percent (90 %) of any health insurance premium over $566.50. The Employee pays ten percent (10 %) of any health insurance premium above $566.50 per month. The Personnel Handbook contains specific language regarding the pro- rating of benefits for part-time employees. This pro - ration would include the health insurance premium. 2.) Effective January 1, 2001, in lieu of the existing drug co -pay, the following employee drug co -pays will be implemented: Pharmaceuticals: $10.00 per regular prescription $ 5.00 per generic prescription $ -0- per mail -in prescription Effective January 1, 2001, the following co -pays will be implemented: Office Calls $10.00 Emergency room (when not admitted) $50.00 There will be a $200 annual maximum co -pay per policy for office calls. Effective January 1, 2001, the County health insurance policy will reflect the state of Wisconsin mandated benefits for mental, nervous, drug, and alcohol treatment. Currently those mandates are: $7000 per member inpatient $2000 per member outpatient $3,000 per member transitional 3.) The Non - Represented Wage grid established for the years 2000 -2002 will be modified to reflect a three and one -half percent increase effective on January 1, 2000; a one - percent increase effective on January 1, 2001; and a one - percent increase effective on January 1, 2002. wageissues /nonunion 2000- 2002modified
