Land Information I have completed review of a soil evaluation report (completed in April 2002)
& submitted to our office on 7/25/06 for acreage owned by Scott Mark. Based on its
Planning content, I will reject the report as per Comm 85.50(1)(b) unless the following data is

RealPoperty 1) A new plot plan that accurately describes the location of the soil-tested area.
715=3864677 According to prospective buyer, Ryan Brathal, the actual site is in the
Recycling northeastern corner of the NE/SE'/ of Section 2, Baldwin Twp. Your original
7157386-4675 drawing vaguely references a field drive on the west side of 260th Street
(which is not identified as such) with benchmarks immediately north of it. A
small location map on the plot plan marks an "X" at the northeast corner of
SE/SE'/ of Section 2. Although no distance is specified, that location should
be approximately 0.25 miles north of 110th Ave. The benchmarks were a nail
in a telephone pole @ 100' assumed elevation, an alternate top of 1" iron
pipe at 92.1', neither of which are located in the SE/SE % section based on
two site visits (8/21/ & 8/28/06). 2
2) An on-site is scheduled with Leroy Jansky to verify that there are A+4" or
$ : better soil conditions for the soil borings reported. I did a hand boring in the
general location indicated on your soil report, which is now a field of corn. At
the field edge there were mottles and redoximorphic iron deposits up into the
A-horizon. The original soil report, completed 4/10/02, indicated A+5"
00~~,-conditions on all three borings. Although our hand boring appears to be
south of your tested area, it will save the owner and potential buyer time to
S have the depth to limiting factor verified in case mottles are observed at less
than 4" below the A horizon. Please notify our office with the date for Leroy's
vkon-site so we can attend.
3) Although we will not charge an additional review fee, an original signed and
dated soil report with amendments as needed must be submitted for review
and acceptance. Make sure to re-establish benchmark and boring elevations
so that this report can be used to design the mound private on-site
wastewater treatment system (POWTS).
