St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the Town of Hudson adopted amendments to its zoning ordinance on
March 11, 1998 and April 28, 1998 as follows:
2.3.6 (e) Residential Zoning Ordinance
to delete: Medical or Dental Institutions, when buildings are devoted
wholly or partly to such uses, and when they front on Class A or B highways as defined
in Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance.
5.1 Commercial Ordinance: Violations and Regulations
to add: Penalties and/or forfeitures in this ordinance are also covered in
the Citation Ordinance. if there is a conflict between this and the Citation Ordinance, the
citation has precedence.
2.7.1 Commercial Ordinance Permitted Uses
to add: (xx) as car dealership whose primary purpose is the sale of new
cars, provided the dealership is located on a minimum of 5 acres with a showroom and
offices, with a minimum building size of 5,000 square feet and providing at a minimum
warranty service.
2.5.6 Special Exceptions
to add: (t) churches
2.5.6 Special Exceptions
to delete: (b) Drive -In Theaters; (d) Contractors storage yard; (h)
Slaughterhouses.
WHEREAS, Section 60.62(3), Wisconsin Statutes, requires in counties having a
county zoning ordinance that no town zoning ordinance or amendment of a zoning
ordinance is effective unless approved by the county board; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee has reviewed the
proposed amendments and recommends approval.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that
the amendments to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance set out above are hereby
approved.
