BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN

WHEREAS, the Administration Committee recommends that, in order to clarify participation and
compensation of non - County Board supervisors on County Board committees, the Rules and By -laws of
the Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin be amended as follows:
1. ARTICLE VI, Section C. County Board Supervisor Per Diems., paragraph 4 be
renumbered to paragraph 5.
2. ARTICLE VI, Section C. County Board Supervisor Per Diems. A new paragraph 4 be
created that reads as follows:
"Non- supervisors serving as committee members of appointed committees
shall be presented with and subject to the rules and by -laws of the Board
of Supervisors of St. Croix County. Appointed committee members shall
be paid a per diem for each meeting attended according to the rates of
compensation in effect for supervisors unless individual committee rules
or practice prohibit such payment or authorize a lesser amount. In no
case shall an appointed member be compensated in excess of supervisors.
3. ARTICLE IV, Section B. Powers and Duties., paragraph 2, be amended to read:
`No County employee may serve as a voting member maw er of a
County standing committee.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the amendments
set forth above be and are hereby approved.
