FOR ST. CROIX COUNTY FAIR BOARD USE

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Fair Board desires additional land on which to conduct
the St. Croix County Fair in Glenwood City; and
WHEREAS, 19 acres of land immediately south of the fairgrounds has been offered for
sale for $77,500; the land includes a house; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the County purchase the property and lease it back to the
Fair Board, which would manage the property.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the 19
acre parcel of land be purchased by St. Croix County for $77,500, provided clear title can be
conveyed; the other details of the purchase to be negotiated and agreed to by the Finance
Committee and staff
FURTHER, be it resolved that a lease agreement be developed by the Finance Committee
and staff, and the Fair Board, covering the use and management of the land.
