St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Counties Association (WCA) Annual Meeting provides an
excellent educational opportunity to supervisors through seminars and meetings and allows
supervisors to share information and ideas with supervisors from other counties; and
WHEREAS, attendance by St. Croix County supervisors in the past has been low; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors desires to increase attendance at
the WCA Annual Meeting and believes amending its rules and by -laws will increase attendance.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the Rules
and By -Laws of the Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin be amended as follows:
1. Article VI, Section C, par.4 (page 18) is renumbered to par. 5.
2. Article VI, Section C, par. 5 (page 18) is renumbered to par. 6.
3. Article VI, Section C, par. 4 is recreated as follows:
4. Wisconsin County Association Annual Meeting. Supervisors are
encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting of the Wisconsin Counties Association
and to participate in seminars and other educational opportunities. Supervisors are
especially encouraged to participate in sessions that are relevant to their committee
assignments. Supervisors shall be paid a regular per diem for each day of
attendance and travel in compliance with these Rules and By -Laws. Expenses
shall be reimbursed in compliance with current Travel and Expense Reimbursement
Policy.
