SUPERVISORS - CHANGING MEMBERSHIP OF EMERGENCY GOVERNMENT
COMMITTEE

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes sec. 166.03(4) requires each county in Wisconsin to
adopt an effective program of emergency management and requires each county board to
designate a committee as a county emergency management committee. The board chairperson
shall be a member of the committee and shall name the other members of the committee; and
WHEREAS, the Rules and By -laws of the Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County,
Wisconsin designates an Emergency Government Committee. The committee's membership
consists of the Board Chair and 3 supervisors; and
WHEREAS, it is advantageous to have an odd number of members on a committee and an
additional member on the Emergency Government Committee.
THEREFORE, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does hereby amend its Rules
and By -laws by changing the membership of the Emergency Government Committee from the
Board Chair and 3 supervisors to the Board Chair and 4 supervisors.'
