RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF COUNTY "LIBRARY BUILDING"

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, Lundgo Corp., 2040 Oriole Avenue North, Stillwater, Minnesota 55082, has
offered to purchase the County property commonly known as the "library building" located in
Hammond, Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, on September 11, 1997 the Finance Committee passed a motion
recommending acceptance of the offer; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the offer are contained in a written offer dated September 11,
1997 and in the minutes of the Finance Committee's's September 11, 1997 meeting; and
WHEREAS, the primary provisions of the offer are as follows:
1. Purchase price is $59,000.00 ($1,000.00 earnest money payment has been made).
2. Closing shall occur no later than December 30, 1997.
3. The County shall retain possession of the property until closing and may use the
building for storage until December 30, 1997.
4. The County warrants that the building's mechanical systems will function on
December 30, 1997.
5. Buyer shall have 7 days after acceptance of the offer to determine exact lot lines
and check furnace and air conditioning.
6. The offer is contingent on Buyer negotiating a satisfactory lease of the property
with a third party by October 16, 1997.
7. The offer is subject to County Board approval.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the offer

to purchase the County "library building" made by Lundgo Corp. is hereby accepted;
FURTHER, be it resolved that if the terms and conditions of the offer are fulfilled, the
County Board Chair and County Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a warranty deed to
Lundgo Corp. to be delivered at closing.
