ST. CROIX COUNTY ADMINIS'11&ATIVE COORDINATOR TO
THE SHARED REVENUE TASK FORCE

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, a shared revenue task force is being proposed to study the distribution
formulas for the shared revenue, expenditure restraint, and small municipality shared revenue
programs, and to recommend replacement formulas for those programs; and
WHEREAS, the shared revenue task force would consist of eleven members —four
members appointed by the Governor, two members each appointed by the Speaker of the
Assembly and the majority leader of the Senate, one member each appointed by the minority
leader in each house of the Legislature and the Secretary of Revenue (or his or her designee), who
would chair the task force; and
WHEREAS, the task force would submit its recommendations in the form of proposed
legislation with an effective date of July 1, 1999 to the Legislature by January 1, 1999; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County Administrative Coordinator John C. Krizek has knowledge
and expertise in this area and would be a valuable member of the task force.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that it
recommends to Governor Tommy G. Thompson that he appoint John C. Krizek, St. Croix
County Administrative Coordinator, as one of his four appointees to the shared revenue task
force.
FURTHER, be it resolved that the County Clerk submit a copy of this resolution to
Governor Thompson.
