PRIORITY WATERSHED PLAN
RESOLUTION NO. 4 d (C 7)
ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN
WHEREAS, Dunn, St. Croix, Polk and Barron Counties have chosen to participate
in the Wisconsin Priority Watershed Program as a means to improve the water
quality. The program requires a local Citizens Advisory Committee to
participate in the plan development and implementation of the plan; and
WHEREAS, this program format was authorized by the state legislature with the
passing of the 1998 -99 biennial budget and subsequent signing by the governor
as a four -year pilot project; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources will continue to be involved
with the administration and monitoring of this program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors approves the South Fork of the Hay River Priority Watershed Plan
as permitted by the Wisconsin State Legislature.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk shall notify the Department of
Natural Resources and the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer
Protection of this approval.
