St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning and Development Committee has
unanimously requested the St. Croix County Administration Committee consider changing
the Planning and Development Committee name; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Development Committee categorizes committee
business into three main areas: (1) Planning, (2) Zoning and (3) Parks; and
WHEREAS, the name change would more accurately reflect the committee's
jurisdiction and main policy- making activities and reduce citizen confusion; and
WHEREAS, the proposed committee name change would be consistent with its pre -
1994 name;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
changes the name of the Planning and Development Committee to "Planning, Zoning and
Parks Committee" and amends the County Rules Addendum to reflect this name change.
