DISBANDING ST. CROIX COUNTY LIBRARY SERVICES BOARD

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, on September 19, 1996, the County Board restructured the
St. Croix County Library Service by eliminating the County Library
and creating a library fund distribution system effective January
1, 1997; and,
WHEREAS, since the County Library Service will exist only as a
mechanism to distribute library fund monies to the ten municipal
libraries located in the County, there is no longer any need for
the St. Croix County Library Service Board;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors that, effective December 31, 1996, the St. Croix County
Library Services Board be disbanded;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Committee be responsible
for approving and dispersing the library fund allocations to the
ten municipal libraries;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors commend the Library Service Board members for their
dedication and service.
