OF OFFICE ON AGING BUILDING IN HAMMOND
Resolution No. 1 (95)
St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, an offer to purchase the land and building in Hammond commonly
known as the Office on Aging Building has been made by Michael C. Lundberg and Monica
L. Lundberg, Purchaser, after negotiations with the Finance Committee; and
The offer consists of the following main terms:
1. $165,000 purchase price, $5,000 tendered with the offer and $160,000 paid at
closing;
2. A contingency that financing be obtained by Purchaser with the terms that
20% of the purchase price is paid by purchaser and the remaining 80% is
borrowed at an interest rate not to exceed 10% per year and repayable in not
less than 10 years.
3. Closing will take place on or before March 15, 1995.
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends acceptance of the offer to
purchase.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that it
hereby approves the sale of the Office on Aging Building on the terms listed above and on
the additional terms contained in the offer to purchase; and
FURTHER, be it resolved that a deed for the property be executed by the County
Board Chair and County Clerk and delivered to Purchaser upon completion of the terms
of the offer to purchase.
FURTHER, be it resolved that all net proceeds from this sale be applied to County
debt reduction.
