St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, Baldwin Telecom, Inc. wishes to obtain an easement on County property
(snowmobile trail) in or near Woodville, Wisconsin upon which to place fiber optic,
telephone and cable television lines; and
WHEREAS, this activity will not interfere with the land's use as a snowmobile trail;
and
WHEREAS, Baldwin Telecom, Inc., agrees to relocate or lower at its expense any
lines if and when improvement or excavation of the snowmobile trail necessitates lowering
or relocation.
THEREFORE, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors hereby grants to Baldwin
Telecom, Inc. an easement to construct, repair and maintain fiber optic, telephone and cable
television lines across, through, or below the following described parcel:
A strip of land 180 feet in width extending over and across that part of the
Wl of the SWl /a of Section 35, T29N, R16W, lying southerly of the
southeasterly line of County Road "BB ", said strip of land being 100 feet in
width on the northwesterly side and 80 feet in width on the southeasterly side
of the centerline of the main track (now removed) of the Minnesota and
Wisconsin Railway Company (now Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha
Railway Company), as said main track (running from Emerald to Weston)
centerline was originally located and established over and across Section 35;
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Chair and County Clerk
execute the easement agreement on behalf of St. Croix County and deliver it to Baldwin
Telecom, Inc.
