NEW AND UPGRADED POSITIONS FOR 1996

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the County anticipates financial constraints and possible monetary
shortfalls in several funded programs in 1996.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that all
requests for new and upgraded employment positions for 1996 be and are hereby frozen,
except positions that are grant funded or revenue - producing which would result in 100%
funding from sources other than property tax dollars, thereby making those positions eligible
for review by the Personnel and Finance Committees in preparation for the 1996 budget.

Joint Motion of the Finance and Personnel Committees
In light of anticipated financial constraints and possible monetary
short -falls in several funded programs, be it resolved to freeze
all requests for new and upgraded positions in 1996.
Krueger Amendment to Joint Motion of the Finance and Personnel
Committees
Amend to exclude positions that are grant funded or revenue -
producing which would result in 100% funding from sources other
than property tax dollars; thereby making those positions eligible
for review by the Personnel and Finance Committees in preparation
for the 1996 budget.
