AS "LAND RECORDS DAY" IN ST. CROIX COUNTY

WHEREAS, 1989 Wisconsin Act 31 and Act 339 established the Wisconsin Land Information
Program and authorized County Land Information Offices and funding for counties for land records
modernization projects; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County established a County Land Information Office in 1990 and adopted
a County Land Information Plan in 1992; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County has continued to implement its Land Information Plan with modern
techniques for developing and sharing land information; and
WHEREAS, St. Croix County would like to offer an opportunity for the Community to review
these accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson has proclaimed November 14, 1995 to be
"LAND RECORDS DAY" in Wisconsin,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting
in regular session, hereby proclaims November 14, 1995 as "LAND RECORDS DAY" in St. Croix
County, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the residents, taxpayers, real property professionals and local
officials of St. Croix County are hereby invited to attend a "LAND RECORDS DAY" Open House at the
St. Croix County Government Center to review exhibits of County land information products and services,
meet involved County officials and staff, and gain a better understanding of the local and state benefits
of the Wisconsin Land Information Program.
