CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTUR TO AG -II ORDINANCE NO. $7 Ca e ad WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to reviewpetitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of JON M. SCHILTGEN on February 21, 2001 in the St. Croix County Government Center in Hudson, Wisconsin; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: A parcel of land located in the Northeast 1 /4 of the Northeast 1 /4 of Section 2, Township 28 North, Range 19 West; excluding Lot 1, 1 CSM 132 and also excluding the East 360 feet of the North 790 feet of the South 2327.34 feet of the East /2 of the said Northeast 1 /4 of Section 2; all in the Town of Troy, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, and consisting of 31.17 Acres, more or Tess. Based on the following findings: 1. The Town of Troy has recommended approval of the rezoning request. 2. The request complies with the Troy Growth Management Plan and the County Plan. 3. The majority of the parcel is identified on the potentially productive agriculture map. 4. The land is in the rural planning area and is an appropriate use. 5. The request is compatible with the surrounding land uses. 6. There is an agreement between the Town of Troy and the applicant, which complies with the Town of Troy Plan. THEREFORE, BE IT NOW ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the parcel is now rezoned from Agriculture to Ag -II. Dated this 004 6 day of , 2001. ST.
