OF HUMAN SERVICES TO ST. CROIX COUNTY DEPARTMENT
OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, St. Croix County is required to provide public health and human
services; and
WHEREAS, in 1986 the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors merged the Unified
Board, Social Services Department and Public Health Nursing Service into a Human
Services Board; and
WHEREAS, newly enacted Wisconsin Statute 251.03(1) requires Human Services
Departments who administer Public Health to include the word "health" in its title.
THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the ST. CROIX COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF
HUMAN SERVICES be renamed the ST. CROIX COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF
HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES.
FURTHER, be it resolved that the HUMAN SERVICES BOARD be renamed the
ST. CROIX COUNTY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES BOARD.
