RESIDENTS ON GRANDVIEW DRIVE

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, eight lot owners in Woodland 3rd Addition, City of Hudson, desire to
purchase parcels of land from St. Croix County to extend the depth of their lots by 50 feet;
and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee is recommending the sale, which amounts to
a parcel of land totalling 50 feet by 747 feet, under the following terms and conditions:
1. The appraised value of $9,900 for the total land be accepted by all the owners
of the eight lots and the allocation of that amount among the owners be determined by the
owners;
2. The appraisal fee of $250 be paid by the owners;
3. The land will be used by the owners as a buffer between their lots and the
County's land and will not be used for additional single family residential development;
4. The County will deliver a separate quit claim deed to each of the lot owners
upon payment in full of the $9,900 price and the $250 appraisal fee. If any owner desires
a warranty deed, the cost of the abstracting /title opinion or title insurance will be borne by
the owner.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
sale is approved on the conditions set out above and the Board Chair and County Clerk are
directed to sign deeds upon the fulfillment of the conditions.
